The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 2:04 a.m. on Thursday valid for Friday between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Harney and Malheur counties.
The weather service describes, "Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."
