Description

The Oregon Department of Agriculture is asking Oregonians to report any sightings of the spotted lanternfly, an invasive species that could harm Oregon's vineyards and nurseries, after an unconfirmed sighting at a Portland park.

A picture of a teeny black and white bug spotted in Portland and posted to a nature observation website earlier this month spurred a multiagency manhunt.
