Description

Portland police say Santi Ram Rai, 33, was killed on Dec. 9 when working at a convenience store on Southeast 139th Ave.

When he wasn’t on the clock as a convenience store clerk, Santi Ram Rai, 33, made music, raised his two young children and volunteered as a youth coordinator for an organization that helped the children of fellow refugees from Bhutan, a family friend said.
