Description
At 1:19 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory in effect until 8 p.m. for Grande Ronde Valley, Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, John Day Basin and Central Oregon.
The weather service comments, “Hot conditions with temperatures up to 97 degrees expected. This will pose a moderate to major risk of heat-related illness.”
