A Coast Guard helicopter rescued two people from a jetty in Bandon, Oregon.

Two people were rescued from Bandon’s Coquille River south jetty on Monday.

On July 28th at about 11pm, HPD officers received reports of a car crashing into a house near the intersection of SE Brookwood Avenue and SE Oakhurst Street. Officers responded and, with assistance from Hillsboro Fire & Rescue , made sure everyone was safe inside the home. Officers began a DUII investigation and arrested the driver, Christopher Quandee (27), for DUII. He provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be 0.21%. Thankfully nobody was injured in this crash.
