Undated family photo of Marion Vinetta Nagle McWhorter who vanished in 1974 after calling a relative in Tigard. Two years later, a man collecting moss found partial human remains in the woods about a mile south of U.S. 20 in rural Linn County. Oregon State Police confirmed this week that they identified the remains as McWhorter's.
