Description

Employees of Home Forward, Portland's housing authority, attended the Hawaii Captive Insurance Council forum the past four years. In 2023, they stayed at the Fairmont Orchid, a 5-star hotel that features a 10,000-square-foot oceanfront pool overlooking Pauoa Bay.

Ivory Mathews will resign as chief executive of Home Forward after drawing scrutiny for her management of the embattled housing authority and her spending on travel, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter.
