Description

New homeless services in the tri-county area made it easier to identify people who were homeless for a biannual federal count, contributing to an increase in the overall total recorded in 2025. Beaverton's first purpose-built homeless shelter, seen here before it opened in November, is one such new service.

The number of homeless people in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties is higher than ever, according to the latest numbers from the national biannual homelessness count.
