Description

The settlement comes after a class-action lawsuit was filed against three Oregon counties in 2023.

Multnomah County has agreed to pay millions to settle a class action lawsuit that accused it and other Oregon counties of keeping money from former owners, heirs or valid lienholders who were entitled to a portion of proceeds from sales on their foreclosed homes.
