Oregon businesses that lost money because of wildfire evacuations, road closures and smoke can now apply for federal disaster loans. Firefighting operations on the Big Grass fire along the Oregon-Idaho border during the summer of 2026.

Oregon small businesses that suffered financial losses during this summer’s severe storms and record-breaking wildfire season can now apply for up to $2 million in low-interest federal disaster loans, even if their property never burned.
