Sovereignty trains before the running of the Belmont Stakes horse race on Saturday, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Friday, June 6, 2025.

The final leg of the horse-racing Triple Crown takes place on Saturday. There is no anticipation of a Triple Crown, as that dream died once Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty was held out of the Preakness. In addition, the race will take place in upstate New York rather than Belmont Park on Long Island.
