Description

Felicita Monteblanco (left), who made a name for herself through parks and recreation policy, now faces challenges from Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney Blayne Soleymani-Pearson (right) and a third candidate, retired banker Stevan Kirkpatrick.

One way or another, Pam Treece will vacate her seat representing the northeastern corner of Washington County on the board of commissioners as she pursues the top spot as chair. The race to name her successor pits a parks and recreation policy buff with experience in politics against a deputy district attorney working in Multnomah County.
