π Independence Day Weekend | July 2 through 5 π
Independence Day weekend is bringing plenty of hometown sparkle, starting with the East Albany Lions Club Lumberjack Breakfast from 6 to 11 a.m. July 2 through 5, A Declaration of Independence Reading at 5:30 p.m. on July 3, and Albanyβs 4th of July Fireworks Show at dusk on July 4.
Start the weekend with pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and a classic car show at Timber Linn Memorial Park. On July 3, gather on the north steps of the Linn County Courthouse for a free public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Then, on July 4, look toward the sky near the Linn County Fair & Expo and Timber Linn Memorial Park as fireworks light up the evening.
It is a holiday weekend built on community, tradition, and the kind of summer memories that pair well with syrup and lawn chairs. Plan ahead, invite your favorite fireworks crew, and share this with someone who loves a good local celebration.
