The Buck Mountain Loop hike leads through a quiet section of the backcountry forest in Silver Falls State Park, where several horror movies and thrillers have been filmed.

Oregon has a lot of beautiful and iconic filming locations – look no further than Timberline Lodge (“The Shining”), Depoe Bay (“One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”) or the Bridge of the Gods (“Wild”) – but one spot stands apart for its role as a particularly spooky and mysterious setting.
