π Downtown Coos Bay β Central Avenue
The Coos Bay Downtown Association is excited to invite you to the Annual Blackberry Arts Festival on Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th. Come join us at this free event that has been a part of Coos Bay for 41 years. The festival is a juried event that will feature an impressive array of talented artisans, music and great food. There will be lots to see, shop, and buy, great food to eat and music to listen to by musicians from around the state. Donβt forget to bring your own chair when enjoying the music. The festival hours are Saturday, the 23rd, from 9am to 6pm and Sunday, the 24th from 10am to 4pm. The fun will not be hard to find. Just follow the crowds to Central Avenue in Downtown Coos Bay.
And as you plan to attend the Blackberry Arts Festival, donβt miss the seventh annual βItβs all Berry Goodβ Blackberry Recipe contest that will be held on Saturday, August 23rd. You can be part of the contest! All you need to do is bring your favorite blackberry-featured recipe to the Coos Bay Elks #1160 located on Central Avenue in downtown Coos Bay. Entries will be accepted on Saturday from 9am to 11am. Judging will begin at noon and winners will be announced at 2pm. You can find more information and rules on the CBDA website, www.coosbaydowntown.com or stop by the Coos Bay Visitors Center.
The Coos Bay Downtown Association promotes Coos Bay as an attractive place to live, work and visit by continually enhancing the quality of the downtown area.
