Join Our Team – Economic Development Assistant

Curry County Economic Development is looking for someone who is ready to turn a job into a career serving our communities.
This role supports the work behind tourism, small business support, workforce development, and community events across Curry County. You’ll help manage programs like business licensing, transient lodging tax collection, marketing initiatives, and research that supports local businesses and economic growth.
But more importantly — we’re looking for the right person.

This position plays an important role in supporting local businesses and helping shape the future of Curry County.
What you’ll help with
• Supporting business licensing and lodging tax programs
• Maintaining webpages and social media
• Assisting with marketing and tourism promotions
• Conducting research and preparing reports
• Supporting events, grants, and special projects
• Helping local businesses navigate county programs
