Excerpt from NB City Administrator's report to the City Council - During June, North Bend Police officers responded to 1,885 calls for service while continuing proactive enforcement and community policing efforts throughout the City. Officers investigated five assaults, 20 traffic crashes, six burglaries, 93 criminal trespass complaints, 31 disorderly conduct incidents, 11 Driving While Suspended violations, eight harassment cases, and two Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants arrests. Officers also responded to two overdose incidents, investigated one sex abuse case, 21 thefts, four stolen vehicle reports, two vehicle break-ins, and served 20 warrant arrests. Officers conducted 367 traffic stops during the month as part of ongoing traffic safety and enforcement efforts. (North Bend Strategic Plan: Public Safety).
