OR State Marine Board release - There are now 19 counties with official drought emergency declarations. Water levels are dropping rapidly, posing a risk to boating safety. Use the Marine Board's Boating Obstruction Map to see where obstructions have been reported. There's also a tool available for boaters to submit a report of what they encounter out there. Entrapment can largely be avoided with good planning and early action! The various digital tools available to boaters include one for whitewater rafters, in collaboration with American Whitewater. Explore the Boat Obstructions Hub and become familiar with all of the data you can use to help plan your epic adventures.
