A pair of “She Who Watches” glass masks by Lillian Pitt were modeled after the Columbia River Gorge pictograph and petroglyph. “Lillian Pitt: Art, Memory, Home” is a showcase for the legendary Oregon artist at the Museum at Warm Springs.

Nobody would blame Lillian Pitt if she wanted to call it quits. During her 44-year career she has become one of the most prolific and well-known artists in the Pacific Northwest, and at 81 she could easily rest on her laurels.
