Journalist Mark Graves photographed this Indian peacock in Southeast Portland’s Errol Heights neighborhood. Graves enjoys photographing and reporting on a variety of animals when he’s not on harder news. “Covering Oregon’s critters is a nice break from the chaos of protests,” he said. “I’ve never been tear-gassed while covering wildlife.”
