The Lincoln Cardinals host the Wells Guardians in a Portland Interscholastic League football game on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 in Portland. Wells won the battle of the southwest Portland rivals 50-13.

One of the city’s top high school football teams just added another loss to the record. And it came over a month after the final buzzer.
