The automaker says it is still working on a final remedy and does not know when it will be ready.

Volkswagen has recalled 9,048 Audi electric luxury SUVs over a battery issue that can cause a fire. Documents posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show the recall applies to certain 2024-2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron and Q4 Sportback E-Tron vehicles.
