U.S. District Judge Adrienne Nelson adopted a significant sentence that was jointly recommended by the prosecutor and defense lawyer.

A repeat sex offender who stole a U.S. government SUV in a desperate attempt to avoid arrest for sharing child sexual abuse images was sentenced Thursday to 21 years and 10 months in prison.
