Luis David Nino-Moncada's red Toyota Tacoma truck was towed from the back parking lot of The Bria Apartments off Northeast 146th Avenue on Jan. 8. He was shot in the left arm while in the driver's seat by a Border Patrol officer who fired into the truck after the truck rammed into an unoccupied federal rental car in a medical office parking lot in Southeast Portland,  the FBI said.

A defense lawyer for the man wounded by Border Patrol last week and accused of assaulting a federal officer entered not guilty pleas on his behalf to a two-count indictment in federal court Wednesday afternoon.
