Medford Rogue Satellite: 5 Months In, Already Making Waves
District Governor Chris Waugh visited the Satellite Club of Medford Rogue on Thursday, February 26th—a club just five months young meeting at Gold Rush Brewery at 5:30 pm.
Club Chair Kellie Hill (also District Membership Cheerleader!) opened by welcoming new member Brian Graunke to the group. Growth already!
Upcoming plans include a field trip to a local radio station—a brilliant way to get into the community and introduce Rotary to potential new friends.
Service ideas flowed freely. Carly Seese shared a school's request for playground stencils that help students develop behavior and self-regulation skills, enabling them to focus on learning.
Carly also offered a powerful reflection: her previous school volunteering had an expiration date—when her kids grew up. But serving in Rotary? "No expiration date. The need continues." 💡
This energetic new satellite sends greetings to all of District 5110!
