***Media Release*** Case #: S2026-00424 COOS BAY Ore - On March 21st 2026, at 9:48 a.m., a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Cape Arago Highway to a report of a man threatening other people recreating in the area. As a result of an investigation, Jerry A. Loreman (47) of Coos Bay was arrested on the charges of Menacing and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Loreman was transported to the Coos County Jail. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
