Description

Scammers often approach the targets by pretending to be with a military bank, credit union or a credit bureau.

Members of the military and their families are being warned of an ongoing scam targeting them with promises of debt relief. According to the Federal Trade Commission, scammers trick the targets into paying them for help with eliminating or reducing debt, but in the end, they get no actual relief.
