The outer fault line of the two that run parallel with Oregon Coast continues to have seismic activity west of Coos County. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, two more quakes were recorded Monday, Sept. 29. One was a 4.0-magnitude and the second a 3.3-magnitude, both at a depth of six-miles. Just within the last week, two 5.0+ magnitude quakes were recorded in the same area, west of Bandon.
