More than 100 pounds of methamphetamine was discovered in two rental Jeeps that state police and federal agents stopped on Interstate 5 northbound within a 10-month period between May 2023 and March 2024, according to a federal prosecutor.LabeledAnother 17 pounds of methamphetamine was hidden in this duffel bag concealed inside a suitcase in the back of the rental Jeep stopped in Interstate 5 north near Cottage Grove on March 1, 2024, according to a federal prosecutor.

A man who was caught hauling more than 100 pounds of methamphetamine from California to Oregon in two separate stops within a 10-month period was sentenced Thursday to six and a half years in federal prison.
