For more than three decades, the cinephile’s Shangri-La video store known as Movie Madness has quietly amassed a mind-boggling archive of more than 100,000 physical films. Currently housed on Southeast 43rd Avenue and Belmont Street, it’s the last video store operating in Portland. The collection is “twice as large as Amazon Prime, HBO, Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus combined,” according to a recent press release.
