Carlos Morris, 46, died in the Multnomah County Detention Center Jan. 2, 2025. Medical records revealed he had most likely been suffering from opioid withdrawal that ultimately killed him. He is pictured here with his daughter, Madeline Morris.

Multnomah County could face a lawsuit from the family of a man who died in a county jail, records show.
