On Saturday at 6:13 a.m. a dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 10 a.m. for Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon as well as Wallowa County.

"Visibility one-quarter mile or less in dense fog and dense freezing fog," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Strongest winds are expected along the slopes and base of the northern Blue Mountains, including Interstate 84 in the vicinity of Cabbage Hill. Winds will be lighter north and west of a line extending roughly from Pilot Rock through Pendleton to Milton-Freewater."
