Description
Wade Gamble and his young children were three of only about four passengers who said they were Canadian among more than 70 boarding the Clipper ferry from Seattle to Victoria, B.C., on June 5.
Even then, this trip was Gamble’s exception, he said. He said Seattle-Tacoma International Airport offered cheaper flights to and from Australia — where his wife comes from — for his family’s three-week vacation than the Vancouver International Airport did.
