With the hatchery coho quota for Cape Falcon to the Oregon-California border predicted to hit 98 percent full after next Tuesday, retention will close starting August 19. Chinook will remain open, and any unused quota could be rolled over into September's any-coho fishery from Falcon to Cape Humbug.
