Description
Bullying is the most common form of violence affecting millions of children and adolescents every year. It happens in our neighborhoods, on our playgrounds, in our schools, and online.
The impacts are real—ranging from anxiety and depression to lower academic achievement. But together, we can change the narrative.
Let’s stand up, speak out, and create a safer, kinder environment for everyone in our community—whether on the school bus, in the classroom, or on social media.
🤝 How you can take action this month:
• Choose Kindness: Small acts of inclusion can make a massive difference.
• Be an Upstander: If you witness bullying, don't stay silent. Support those who need it.
• Educate & Advocate: Talk to your kids and peers about digital safety and respect.
Let's make Brookings a place where everyone feels safe, included, and respected.
