Description

City of North Bend release - ODOT is upgrading pedestrian and bicycle facilities along ORE 540 (Cape Arago Hwy) / U.S. 101 between Broadway Ave and Fir St in North Bend. Work includes: New ADA curb ramps; Two pedestrian crossings with flashing beacons near Ash St and Spruce St; Sidewalk infill and bike lanes; Timeline: Construction underway, with completion scheduled by December. What to expect: Intermittent daytime shoulder closures through the work zone; Night time lane closures 7:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m., Sunday night–Friday morning; Minor delays, changing traffic control, and construction signage; When sidewalks are closed, alternate pedestrian routes will be provided. Please slow down, follow posted signs, and use extra caution around workers and people walking or biking. Thank you for your patience as ODOT makes North Bend safer and more accessible! Questions?
