Description

Faculty and union leaders told OHSU leaders that that overcrowded units, staffing shortages and mounting workloads are leaving workers stretched beyond capacity despite the academic medical center's financial turnaround.

Facing growing criticism over overcrowding in its neonatal intensive care unit, Oregon Health & Science University leaders have pledged to replace the aging facility but said they cannot afford to build it yet.
