Description

A decade after announcing plans to construct a new wing of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to increase bed capacity and services for high-risk infants and pregnancies, OHSU has essentially shelved plans to build a new home for obstetric and neonatal services.

Ten years ago, top officials at Oregon Health & Science University stood in front of the board of directors and shared troubling details on the state of the health system’s pregnancy and newborn care.
