Description

Tulelake is a beautiful old town, and the club meets at historic Mike & Wanda’s Restaurant. Due to a scheduling mix-up, though, I visited Tulelake on Wednesday, April 29th – a day they don’t have a meeting! Talk about Rotarians adapting, they gathered half a dozen members to visit with me anyway.
Our District Membership Cheerleader, Kellie Hill, has worked with clubs to name Membership Superstars. Whitney Cantrell was chosen for this one – she’s the club Treasurer, and a mom-to-be in 2 weeks. Her sister, Angie, is the club president.
Katie Walker told me about their focus on food-related challenges for youth and seniors. She’s their “grant guru.”
Their Livestock Auction supports their community with thousands of dollars for projects and scholarships.
Tulelake club welcomes visitors with open arms and home-style cooking. They invite you to come and visit!
