Description

Summer salmon seasons for Oregon's Pacific Ocean waters were decided Friday in Newport, along with fall bird hunting and a new permanent summer parking system for Columbia River beaches on Sauvie Island's wildlife area.

Fishing for hatchery coho salmon will close late Aug. 18 along most of the Oregon coast.
