The governor's committee moved at a deliberative pace. The data center industry, and public opinion, are advancing much more rapidly.

Gov. Tina Kotek’s data center task force has spent nine months studying Oregon’s rapidly growing industry while public opposition gathered momentum and data centers moved toward the fore of civic discourse across the state.
