Description
Oregon Dungeness commercial crab fleet - the in season derelict gear retrieval applications will be accepted until Thursday May 15th. You can drop off, email, fax, or mail them to our office. My apologies for the delay in getting them out. You should have received them well prior to the end date. We did not receive applications for all areas therefore we will leave the acceptance open for all areas until the 15th. At that time we will submit the contracts for approval with ODA (required) and notify those approved to work with ODFW to issue permits. Thank you to those who have already applied, you do not need to resubmit. If you are willing to go to another port other than the one on the application please be sure to let us know that way if a port does not get an applicant we can reach out and ask if you would like to do that in case you were not chosen for your port, and we still fill all positions to take gear out of the water. Keep in mind it may be further to go but within reason it is well worth it to get the gear picked up, there have been occasions where we have not had any apply for different areas. You can send or drop applications to the following addresses: ODCC office: 964 Central Ave, Coos Bay. Oregon 97420. Email: [email protected] [email protected] Fax: 1-541-267-5772 Mail: PO BOX 1160, Coos Bay. Oregon 97420. Text: Follow the prompts to sign up for the text program then text your application if necessary!!!! We want applicants anyway we can!!! Please feel free to reach out with any follow up questions that I may have missed.
