Description

The Republican leaders of an anti-tax hike referendum campaign, including Rep. Ed Diehl of Scio, pictured at the podium, have filed another lawsuit related to Democrat's decision to move a gas tax vote to the May ballot. The lawsuit alleges that the secretary of state didn’t provide Oregonians with enough time to get arguments in the Voters’ Pamphlet.

Opponents of gas tax hikes are once again suing the state of Oregon over a law that rescheduled the date of a gas tax referendum from November to May.
