PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Oregon health officials are reminding beachgoers to take precautions even though the state’s beach monitoring season has ended for the year. The Oregon Beach Monitoring Program, part of the Oregon Health Authority, wrapped up its 2025 sampling season in mid-September. Still, officials say bacteria levels can rise after periods of heavy
