On Monday at 9:46 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory valid from 10 p.m. until Tuesday 8 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley.

The weather service describes, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."

The project, funded through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's (ODFW) Restoration and Enhancement (R&E) Program, provides improved shoreline fishing access for anglers of all abilities, including those without boats. The City appreciates the partnership with ODFW in bringing this project to completion and enhancing recreational opportunities for the Coos Bay community. The new fishing dock is now open and available for public use.
