On Monday at 9:46 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory valid from 10 p.m. until Tuesday 8 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley.

The weather service describes, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - POLICE OFFICER The City of Coos Bay is soliciting applications for the position of lateral and entry level Police Officers. Lateral applicants would be eligible for a $2,500 hiring bonus ($1250 after being hired and $1250 after successful completion of probationary period.) Starting salary for lateral hires may be negotiable based on relevant law enforcement experience.
