On Monday at 9:46 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory valid from 10 p.m. until Tuesday 8 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley.

The weather service describes, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."

He trained new mediators and strengthened our mediation program in ways that will serve Hillsboro long after his last shift. Jess also served our community as a Hillsboro Police Department Youth Peer Court Judge. We are grateful for his dedication, his compassion, and his commitment to serving others. Twenty-three years of volunteer service helped move us closer to our vision of being the most trusted police department in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you, Jess.
