The Oregon Nurses Association has accused executives at Portland’s Legacy Emanuel Medical Center of failing to protect the privacy, safety and medical rights of patients in federal immigration custody. Legacy officials, however, say the union’s claims are inaccurate and that the hospital follows all laws governing patient care and privacy.
