New data from the Oregon Health Authority shows e-scooter injuries treated in hospitals and emergency departments have more than doubled in recent years as the devices become a bigger part of how people get around. As electric scooters and bicycles zip through Oregon neighborhoods and city streets in growing numbers, serious injuries tied to them are climbing just as quickly.
