The Pacific Northwest Ski Areas' Association, which includes Mt. Hood Meadows, opposes Senate Bill 1517. It passed out of the Oregon Senate this week.

A polarizing debate is unfolding in the Oregon Legislature over a pair of dueling bills that set out to save the state’s 10 ski resorts and countless other recreational providers from an onslaught of lawsuits and the skyrocketing insurance rates that come with them.
