The Oregon Department of Justice on Wednesday filed a sweeping lawsuit accusing the nation’s largest insulin manufacturers and pharmacy benefit managers of orchestrating a pricing system that drove up the cost of a life-saving drug for hundreds of thousands of Oregonians.

The Oregon Department of Justice on Wednesday sued three of the nation’s largest insulin makers, accusing them of working with pharmacy benefit managers to drive up the price of a drug that diabetics need to stay alive.
