Oregon and standout Kiara Romero came up short in a bid for an NCAA women’s golf championship tournament berth Wednesday following a disappointing third round at the NCAA Waco (Texas) Regional.

The Ducks, ranked eighth in the country heading into postseason, shot a 6-over 286 during the final round to finish seventh in the 54-hole regional at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco. The top five teams advance to the NCAA Championship.
